Robben, rosku i owe you this story.
After rather an unpleasant experiences on W14 during managing Whatever Bay and the market, we initially had no intention of creating Whatever Bay for W15.
It's unbelievable how people can be incredibly mean and ungrateful for someone else's free labor. Most of them only demand something without paying anything back.
We spent a lot of private time to create a village and market on W14. I belive I invested more than 500 hour into W14 doing something for you all.
The game mechanics don't help either and to manage village and market you have to use external tools, sheets, questionnaires, channels on discord, websites and other.
Because of these most of the people who helped us on W14 burnout and did not want to help build an another village on W15. I didn't want to participate in this project myself either, but you know, Rosku can be sometimes really persistent. After the announcement of W15, he was asking me every day if I would be tempted to build a new WB on W15, and I finally agreed.
I developed the current layout of the village. I think you can't come up with anything better with the current game mechanics. We wanted everyone to have their plots as close to the market as possible (to have direct access to stands from the plots), but also to make sure that no village banner falls on someone else's claim, because that creates some security issues.
After launching W15, it turned out that we had a big problem, because there are only a few places for such a large village. We found less than 10 places that we considered settling.
We initially wanted to settle on the central continent, right there:

But then Robben found this holy grail terrain and we all agreed to move on:

During the first day we managed to secure "The Core" and a lot of claims:

After a week we made an outer palisade:

On day 10th we had a pretty decent farms to gather all clothes needed for village banners and stands:

Two weeks later we made the only market this world:
(Fun fact: I killed two characters from wounds during gathering all woods required)

Another problem turned out to be that the changes on W15 compared to W14 were so insignificant that most of us burned out even before the first raid.
I left the game shortly thereafter after my son's bad medical diagnosis, but that's another story.
