Autism to Aurism is the reason I didn't voice my opinion on many of WB's threads and why I never mentioned the pedophilia on my post warning new players in the WB thread. The real issue is when one sides opinion is "having sex with 15 year olds is completely reasonable and should be accepted in this community so long as its legal in their country" it becomes increasingly hard to have reasoned debate.

Likewise it becomes even harder when they go "actually other person is pedophile because we say so and will provide no screenshots of DMs or Discord to show evidence for it." Then argue that, that is equavelant to the person whom has a massive imgur file of the things he has said suggesting he is as such.

That being said I hear what you are saying about autistic screeching so this will be my last post about it in this thread. Let the content of this thread stand on their own so that players can reach their own conclusion.

Even if he did care about it, guilt by association and collective punishment I thought were concepts we as an enlightened society, who are getting everything right compared to our ancestors, abandoned at some point like we abandoned the idea that fucking 15 year olds is ok which it was for most human history.

I assume because vatas lacks any impartiality whatsoever, otherwise why would an entirely illegible and trash thread like this one remain up? Why would all these irrelevant posts about pedophiles and pedophilia receive no warnings or moderation? Funny how those same people who complained about moderators having faction affiliations would try and use a moderator to oust people they don't like from the game instead of simply ignoring and not interacting with those people.

If we ban pedophiles(which is fine with me) we should get rid of people like Snail forever too, since you know, he actually has cheated before. Snail here is the one who has broken actual in game rules and yet is still around for some reason when he genuinely shouldn't be.

As far as playing, IE experiencing the actual game, you can't really ban someone for something they do/did outside of the actual game world. Forums- whatever. But the game world? No.

Honestly that whole debate should be taken to the The Inn of Brodgar section or something most of us are getting sick of reading about it here..

Now what's confusing is why you can't ban someone for running around spamming the "N" word in area chat or stone paving swastikas on the ground. That CAN and WILL affect players since that is something that can happen IN your actual game world.

Honestly the only thing somewhat bad about my moderation was that I probably put a little too much focus on moderating dumbasses like Aleck and the users associated with him such as Burinn, Ysh, Ants, Poppy, etc. for instance. Can't remember who else was active around that time that kept shitting up the forum (perhaps also you, Garen? ) but had I not spent so much time on them they wouldn't have constantly cried about it until jorb eventually caved. It's how the majority of moderation on this forum tends to revolve when the devs push the entire burden of decision making on the moderation team and then either 1. Don't back them up or 2. Undermine their decisions.

It's not really that difficult. Users report posts for some type of rule-breaking, offending users and/or posts are warned or moderated. The end. That's all a moderator needs to do.
