Honestly the only thing somewhat bad about my moderation was that I probably put a little too much focus on moderating dumbasses like Aleck and the users associated with him such as Burinn, Ysh, Ants, Poppy, etc. for instance. Can't remember who else was active around that time that kept shitting up the forum (perhaps also you, Garen? ) but had I not spent so much time on them they wouldn't have constantly cried about it until jorb eventually caved. It's how the majority of moderation on this forum tends to revolve when the devs push the entire burden of decision making on the moderation team and then either 1. Don't back them up or 2. Undermine their decisions.

It's not really that difficult. Users report posts for some type of rule-breaking, offending users and/or posts are warned or moderated. The end. That's all a moderator needs to do.

Why do you discuss this like snail gives a flying fuck about some supposed pedophile when he doesn't need any kind of reason to raid anyone else? It's just a pretext to make his despicable actions more palatable to others and some way to distract attention to what he is doing. Even if he did care about it, guilt by association and collective punishment I thought were concepts we as an enlightened society, who are getting everything right compared to our ancestors, abandoned at some point like we abandoned the idea that fucking 15 year olds is ok which it was for most human history.

But trying to downplay loli porn by calling it “cringe art” is somehow different? Strange how both players have shown an inclination for liking them young but only one of them is being attacked for it. Does he really need to straight up say something like Misa did when there are so many other obvious signs? Let’s at least agree that if someone like Misa should be banned from the forum and game, so should Snail.

Perhaps if Detective Vatas consulted with anyone other than his next door neighbour he might have come to the same conclusion. Though I think you’d have to be quite blind not to have already noticed a long time ago.

Or you can all just keep pretending you care about stuff like that while throwing the blame on groups of players for not condemning a person I'm sure they hardly if ever have interacted with, not actually doing anything to affect any real change and then pat yourselves on the back afterwards.
