Hi all, I am editing this post to try and help increase recruitment, as well as sharing some updates with the current base. I am looking for players to join, new/experienced all are welcome. You will be join a group during relatively early stages of the game, and get to see the satisfaction of working with me to build out our village together. No expectation for specific roles until we grow to a certain size. Fluency in English is required (Sorry!)
Village Overview
The base is currently a 50x50 plot of land separated into four quadrants. Each quadrant serves a particular purpose, and is tentative and may change. Once we start outgrowing this plot we will conduct expansions and designate new areas. For now, this is how it looks.
Production Area
In the production area, we have a few kilns, ovens, ore smelter, and coal makers. In the rear, we have a tanning area.
Housing and Common Area
As for the housing area, this is where your personal belong will go and where you will sleep. As you can see in the photo, it is still under construction. There will be four homes facing a stone stead which will serve as the common area, in which all resources will be shared. Inside of the homes, you will be sharing it with one other player. The house will be split with half of the home belonging to you, the other half for someone else.
As a sign-on bonus, I intend on providing all new members to the group with a standard set of equipment, just to help kick-start your journey. I know it isn't much but its better than nothing.
Farm and Gardening Area
This is where a small farm and gardening area will go. As with everything else, still WIP. Looking for a dedicated farmer/cook to take over for me eventually, if this sounds like you, please reach out!
Domestication Area
Lastly the domestication area. Working on taming two horses, these are the primary goal as it improves the QoL of the game substantially. Cow domestication is also WIP.
Final Remarks
I know the village looks pretty messy right now. I guarantee it won't look anywhere like what it it is now like once sometimes down the line. Many things are tentative with the layout and structure of the base, and we will work together to design an area that fits our needs. The overall goal for this community is to enjoy the game together, and learn about the intricate mechanics of the game, sharing resources, and specializing in areas of the game that interests you individually.
