Thanks for the kind words, both of you. I got hooked, played a lot and spent a huge amount of time scouring the wiki and forums.

While I may continue as Hermit as Granny mentioned, I think I already went through that experience and I want to try out group play now. Whether that works better or not is yet to be seen, but at the moment having a common goal with others and working towards it sounds appealing. Also, I think the stakes would get lower for one individual that way, as the group can prop them up in case of unfortunate accident. Same goes for overall progress.

So far I got one actual offer and I am waiting for them to reach back.

Actually based on everything I have seen, joining a group is likely to get you killed. These group settlements draw the attention of raiders, and these groups almost never know how to fight or are even properly geared to do so. Your best chance for survival is to stay hidden, stay alone. Keep your head down and just grind away at your own pace. You can't trust people, someone in your group will likely end up either pissing someone off, or just being out somewhere and leading someone back to your home. It's the hermit life, or no life at all IMO.
