A warning and a plee for help with walls.

Just a heads up for anyone who has an unfinished wall outside of a claim anywhere near the lake east of the RoB, there's been a couple of instances of people closing up walls entirely so finish your claims up quick.

Also, if there are any characters in the area or willing to come to the area to take down three segments of the wall I'd be much appreciative. I don't have much to offer now but I'd be more than happy to offer shelter, whatever I have now, or goods in the future. I'd also be willing to help out with working as well.

um?
I don't get what you mean.

So, you're saying people are closing up other peoples walls? Fencing them in with no gate? Or, what?

That's exactly what I'm saying.

I'm guessing that with all the logs scattered by indiscriminate woodcutters, griefers now have a new means of enjoyment. They would chop them to logs, then build palisades to enclose unclaimed cabins or claims with a small area.

I recommend for people to pick up those logs and keep them in your claims.

it's a good idea to make walls without gates. This way keys are not an issue you have to deal with. Just gotta make sure you can get in and out.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Hmm, an interesting development. I stopped playing for a while so I could catch up on school work so I didn't get the memo about not being able to log into the RoB, so now I'm effectively imprisoned inside my claim because my hearth is in it and logging in from where I logged out just puts me back inside it. I could really use some help on this. I still don't have much to offer because I can't leave but I do have some foods and I'd be willing to build stuff, or any other kind of manual labor. Anyone willing to help out ? D:

Chances are you can Adventure -> Travel to RoB out of there. If you're relatively close to RoB, this can be a viable way to get in and out until you find somebody to help you. I'd do it for free, but I have only 40str and I live very far from RoB (ie I can't travel back if I go there unless I stay logged out for half a RL week in a bed which I don't have there).

if you destroy your hearthfire you can log in at your village, if you don't have a village then you can log in at the rob.
