Claiming your house would be fine of course. I mean, because we want to fit as many people in as possible, and make a real compact 'city', we can't let people have their own claimed private gardens/farms, etc.

This is my opinion anyway. If, when we have some proper leaders voted in, they want to change that, then so be it.

Great, idea, Yolan!
Count me in as help.
I cannot say how long I'll stay, but I think one can just as well stay relatively close to RoB in the beginning, as one smells the new world and gets a feeling for all the new changes.

I am having trouble connecting, so I'm going to wait an hour or so and take a nap. If anybody gets on first and finds a good spot, start chopping!

I guess we want to begin by marking the ground somehow in order to set out the basic layout...

Isn't there another reasonable place available then?

Maybe, but I need somebody who is helping to actually meet with me, so we can share dreams and get a claim up.

Well, a bunch of great folks have been working hard since the world began, and the outlines of Brodgar are forming. If you are interested in helping out, please just come a bit north of the RoB and have a chat with us.

Taking the initiative, I will be opening up residential space in the future to anybody who wishes to live here, however with precedence going to those who helped build the place. I will lay out space such that people will be able to wall in a cottage (max density is desired).

This will form the foundation of the step towards building a political system.

Again, taking the initiative, I declare that all who have a hearthfire in Brodgar, and (after they become avaliable) have an assigned stake of land, count as a citizen whose vote is of equal worth to any other when deciding the future chieftan/lawspeaker (voting held periodically).

I'll be heading up there and giving it a shot when I get online tonight. Do you guys have an IRC chanel or any live chat I can use to coordinate? I'm hoping you'll be on in about 3-4 hours time
