Players would be gradually weaker and weaker suffering deeper and deeper debuffs after around 20 in game hours, and every 2 in game REAL hours the debuff gets stronger.

This would make it so players don't abuse narrow canyons to build thin brickwalls without gates to be relatively untouchable. Instead, doing such a thing would make them gradually weaker and weaker.

Why in the fuck would you use both ingame time and real time as measurements for your suggestion? You're just making your retarded suggestion even worse.

You are mistaking IN GAME TIME, and real time, with haven time. In game being time actually spent logged in.

That makes it better, but it's still retarded as shit.

Aww, someones just upset and defensive because it IS a good idea, and your hearthfire is likely in a vault like that.

Ever wonder if it's all for you
The world I love The trains I hop To be part of The wave can't stop

I personally dislike some of the abuses that travel causes. Compounds built without gates, Helm's Depths, etc. Unfortunately I haven't been able to think of a good solution. Doing pathfinding is simply not an option with the potential distances involved, and removing travel is even less of an option.

Why I don't like it? Completely sidestepping the finer points of the issues of exploits versus acceptable ingenuities (complete matters of definition anyway), I, quite simply, find it aesthetically displeasing.

Reverse pathfinding. Have the game consider the destination of the player, and have it check to see if the immediate vicinities are completely walled in, if there's gates. Teleporting would be allowed, if it's completely walled in by walls and cliffs, No teleport.

Don't be an idiot, I'm completely new at this game and it's obvious to even me that it's a hopelessly useless idea. The one about attacking brick walls from the side being easier to destroy was far better and that wasn't great either.

Knee-jerk suggested 'fixes' are never a good thing.
