There's no point in naming it really, it makes more sense that it'll be called Brodgar since its around the Ring of Brodgar.

I'd love to help build such a city, just not to live in it. If only there were a way to claim things, and prevent anyone from Moving object out of said claim, or moving them around, but for them to be able to use them. That would be great for all the Merchant guilds, and town coin press, etc.
I think the claims that are part of the governmental approach, say, the meeting halls and such, should be Open to all People, no matter who built/claimed them. It would let several people use them as meeting places to hammer out decisions on things, and it would be useful to everyone.
Maybe J&L can put some custom buildings there, or make a way for the specific furniture in those areas to not be stolen. I know from experience if you sit anything down in Brodgar, it'll be gone the second you turn your back. Noob instincts kick in and say "This could be valuable, I must have it". My first chest, in fact, was taken from Brodgar on my first day in H&H, I didn't even consider it could have been someone Else's, only that it was a chest I didn't have.
Anyway, count me in, on one of my characters anyway, on building the town of Brodgar.

What's wrong with Brodgar?

Nothing is wrong with it. It's just a reference to Fallout 3. There was a town called "Little Lamplight" that was populated by children. Once you turned 16(or was it 18?) you had to move out into Big Town. I just though it'd be funny to call it Little Lamplight because all of the new characters could stay there, learn the game then head off to their own Big Towns.

This concept would also lead newbies to believe less in a "Fend for yourself and yourself only" philosophy, as he is welcomed with open arms and organization instead of "Fuck your shit, go do stuff."

The logic and philosophy of this post are wrong.

Keep in mind that rivers are the best locations to build a town next to if you want to trade. So having large town/trade center far away from a river would not be a good idea.
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

So you're the little SoB that pillaged my noob camp ey?

For the record the chest in my cabin RIGHT NEXT to the RoB lasted for multiple weeks, maybe as long as a month. I was only there solidly for the first week and even then no more than 4 hours a day. After the first week I was there maybe once every week or so.

People in general are more respectful than you'd guess
