There was almost nothing worth less than 10 coins. Even with the largest unit being 100 people were tending to save their payouts until they were paid in bars.

Now with nuggets the sole advantage of coins (divisibility) is reduced to zero. The only reason you'd use coins rather than nuggets is for aesthetic reasons (and for higher class metals like gold, silver and steel (possibly wrought)

now it would, for the first time, make sense to trade with coins, as you can use even small amounts of them (11 coins -> one nugget). The fact that still noone trades with coins, shows how useless they are. away with those stupid coins!!! let the trading proceed!

Well Can I ask some simple things...

1 Gold Bar = ?? Silver Bars = ?? Iron Bars = ?? Copper/Tin Bars

From there I can work out some things I have been thinking about...

You know, the OP's suggestion has more going for it than you guys think. As everyone would start printing money, the economy would soon resemble that of the 1920's Weimar Republic. If history has taught us anything, it's that times like these are a perfect opportunity for a young charismatic leader to take the helm and lead the nation to prosperity. I nominate myself for this position, because I have a fail-proof plan. First, we need to get rid of the goons and seize their unfairly acquired wealth...

There seems to be quite a lot of talk about revolution these days... But...

Where is the action?

As far as I know, there isn't any outside the forums. Just a bunch of people getting all riled up because they can't spend time working for what they want. (The whole time they've been bitching and complaining they could've easily gotten the materials to trade for it.)

If you're talking about Gold.

To be perfectly honest, I'd LOVE to see potjeh revolt and create his own separatist state, mainly as a break from the decidedly monotonous life I live now in the hearthlands.

I might even be inclined to join him.

Well, we'll first need a beer hall. Is the Brodgar Inn operational yet?

I suggest you get your mom to play so she can make one. Then wait for Barns so you can be shot in the neck with an arrow in, and you can get Gold while he's watching a play somewhere. It'll be like Lincoln all over again :D
