I role-play as a farmer, but being so far away from the nearest town I am alone most of the time so it kinda defeats the purpose. I'm always friendly to visitors that happen to stop by, of course!

If i wanted to kill or steal, i sure would make a character for it and play it like that. and i would expect ppl to understand the difference between a char and a player. apparently it doesnt really work... and its hard to differ, cause you never know if someone is actually playing or not, especially when he/she insults you or makes other stupid stuff.

I don't think it's lack of understanding, but lack of caring. If your character abuses my character, I (the player) get mad at you (the player), because I don't find having my characters abused to be fun. Likewise, certain role play styles will cause me to walk out of a face-to-face role playing game, or at least not return to that gaming group - because I'm not having fun. (Or they'll cause me to try to get the role player and/or his specific actions banned from the game, depending on circumstances.)

If you can role play "evil" in such a way that other players have fun, more power to you. The OP hasn't done that.

Did no one get that, I chose a bad person, and did bad deeds? Yes, I know it was out of place, but the name was fitting to the actions. As for everyone treating me like a dick now because I decided to steal on one character, you seem to be pretty ignorant. Especially if I don't have any of the black skills, or plan to get them.

There's a huge difference between stealing and playing a Nazi.

I was going to reply that "friendliness" doesn't usually involve attacking someone out of the blue, but then I read your second line.

No idea why you think I'm "uptight" though. Or is that just your favourite generic insult?

Perhaps you should give your definition of "uptight."
