Look at what other people are doing to get the general idea. If you are building a house inside the walls, you should aim to make your claim no larger than necessary to cover your house, and a small garden or workshop area. Outside the city walls, it is mostly up to you, although I request you don't make your claim bigger than you really need to, so that other farmers get a chance to live nearby also.

Just to bring to your attention, the first post-oath law has been tabled for your consideration.

=== LAW I - PERTAINING TO THE OFFICE OF LAWSPEAKER ===

Check the Brodgar Laws thread to see it.

Business Opportunity

This is directed towards any resident of Brodgar who has yet to figure out what it is that they can do in this city.

Suggestion: Why not locate some land to the south of the city, as close as possible (while its still available!) and make a tree farm? Every day the tree line gets further away, but Brodgar is always going to need more wood. Not only for building new houses, but also for future industries, and for keeping everything in repair! I believe that the city of Brodgar itself will be one good customer, which can pay in coins for your logs.

How is brodgar for tea, I would like to start harvesting it and selling it to the brodgar mine for copper bars. First I have to unload some wool though. Who should I talk to about this?

Don't worry, if you want to trade with TCoB, you will do so through myself or Yolan, and we will meet you at RoB or TCoB or somewhere else convenient.

There is no need for you to know where our mines are.
