Of course not, as people have suggested it would be silly to completely ignore actions against you. Unfortunately to get here you've had to move the goals from playing down at your opponents level to give them a taste of their own medicine to what you are now describing as proportionate response. This is nothing to do with proportionate response, I'm calling out Laremere on the hypocrisy of supporting what the OP accused VoodooDog of (where he did exploit or not) on the simple grounds he hates Goons their actions.
It's not like he said 'well I don't agree with doing that, but I'm glad someone struck out at those jerks', he more or less hi-fived it.
This is all moot of course, I don't actually care if Goons grief or people grief Goons back, it's part of online gaming and dare I even say human nature. I just find it amusing people get so pissy about griefing, but it becomes cool when the situation is reversed. Sorry bros, but if it's such a bad thing it doesn't stop being bad just because you are doing it to them. Ironic perhaps, but doesn't make you any better. Get off your high horses and accept Goons just unleashed your true nature.
