Aye to the Mining Tax Law.

Brodgar provides miners with food tea and fuel. They are likely better off working our mine than anyone elses. Regardless of this, the output from the mines is a corner stone to Brodgars success, which should be the goal of all citizens, because the more successful the city you belong to, the better off you are in terms of access to good resources.

That wouldn't make any sense.

No, I mean, it wouldn't make any sense to 'tax' them. What would that even mean? Think about it.

Technically they would still be taxed a portion of their output, and the remainder would count as a donation.

I say Nay to the taxation of miners, rather I would like to see taxation of the buyers(buying directly from the mines. The City of Brodgar's government would NOT be taxed for buying from our own mine. Hell, it wouldn't even have to BUY from it.). Taxing the buyers jut seems more efficient than taxing the people working, if we tax the miners we could have strikes, less output, or even no output. Of course, you would have to ask all the miners on their opinion, first.

edit: If the mine was open to citizens of other villages, they could be taxed, but as of now I must say nay.
