Village of Brodgar.

Cooperative Company of Charitable City-dwelling Brodgarians. Or Trans-rob Village Authority. Or Brodgar Metropolis. I like that last one :) Or, if you want to avoid stigma you could go to Metropolis Of Brodgar... MOB... I could think up a million more; I thought these up as fast as I could type them.

Yeah, I went through a bunch of options, BC is probably the best so far, but it still sounds a little less grand than City of Brodgar.

TBC (The Bottleneck Confederacy) springs to mind. But, it sounds a little like a television station, or a disease. Although CoB is rather reminiscent of corn.

Utterly preposterous. :P
The grumpiest tree you ever did see.

Character: Hamel, previously Chieftain of Ancient Bottleneck, a founding father of the Confederation of Bottleneck. Currently a hibernating soul.

Do you have to be a Confederacy? what about a Pact, and Alilance, a Kingdom, and Empire, a multiplex, a franchise, a sovereignty, a Union?

Our government is a confederation by its strictest definition. All of those names are neither particularly fitting, nor entirely explanatory of our governing body.

Plus, confederation just sounds cool. ;)
