Relay race:

A cleared out area is presented to each team. There are the runners, the gatherers, and the builders. The gatherers collect resources such as trees, water for the builders and runners, and stones for the foundation. The runners put logs into carts and race them to the builders. The builders take the resources and create a cabin as quickly as possible.

Treasure hunt:

At a starting point, each team receives a clue to be read on a runestone. Each time must uncover what the clue means and travel to the next checkpoint. After a while at the end, a chest full of good stuff is at the end. The team decides how to divide the goods.

Yes... Just what we need. More useless and indestructible cabins filling the world.

Otherwise I would like the idea.

If the cabins where built in such a way as to be useful to newbs, then it might be a nice barn-raising style event.
Surprise.

It needs to wait, war is more important.

besides, we'd need a host of the major
factions if it's going to be the olympics :)

Which war? I thought we agreed upon a peace treaty or do you still exclude yourself from it? Wanna die a third time in one week?

Back to topic: What about Brodgar as a host? I mean not location wise but I think everyone has enough trust in the cob to let them host the games and distribute the prizes.

I just heard rumors you drowned again and wanted to know if there is some truth to it.

As for the Olympics, if not cob how about Novigrad? I have never been there, but is it already such a mess as brodgar?

Novigrad isn't claim-riddled, just deforested.

Anyway, I've scrounged up a gold lure for the fishing competition winner and a ranger shirt for hunting winner.

I don't see many people registering to compete, though. I doubt we'd have much of a turnout if this took place on Sunday as planned.

Maybe give it some more time, but not to much. I really would like to see this happen. Maybe another week and we will keep spamming in this thread so everyone sees it. Did you talk to the devs about it? Maybe the could make an announcement ingame or something like that...
