Our lawspeaker is the only one capable of fighting bears in Stillmeadow, but none of us are playing right now. Like Pinevalley, our town has been robbed from and vandalized so much that we're just waiting for the map reset.

Interesting declaration.

I've never heard of you before, though. It's my impression that many potentates used strength of arms to carve themselves a lordship out of the wilderness, back in the day; "might makes right" and all that. Reinforced obviously by the necessary leadership qualities such as the Charisma to sway followers and the Perception/Intelligence to rule as they see fit, to quell conspirators/enemies of the land and reckless upstarts alike. Peasants will have their superstitions; their leaders might be blessed, being untouchable in Melee and been bestowed with Constitution enough to be proof from poison. Without more than the basest claims to prowess in the field on battle, I fear that overlords of mere brute Strength, terror-inspiring as it is, have their dominions subverted sooner than they aspire to.

Which begs the notion: Without some idea of stats, how can one make the above statement with total lack of fear of reprisal? Are you just fucking crazy, or are you really able to back it up? I'm not really minded to care if you claim the whole map, just asserting that there will likely always be a bit of doubt, a notion of illegitimacy, until proven otherwise. Hopefully, such an event will not come to fruition resulting of the demise of boorish fools such as I.

Curious George is curious.

With exploited stats, I am one of those 3.
Not too hard to guess who the other 2 are.

Thanks, I was actually mildly curious enough to see if he was bold enough to make his own stats known. The whole post was actually wholly motivated by idleness, so feel free to disregard it as a rant.

So I wonder if this whole self-declared Lord of the Southeast issue has something to do with the consecutive burglaries in the /v/ campsite (a.k.a. "new" Brotopia).

This is the second time my settlement has been robbed of wooden chests, tea and Iron ores. Considering its location being right outside of the supposed territory, and the tracks pointing east...

EDIT: I found the culprit, flash79 is the handle, his hearth actually north east from our settlement (still beyond the supposed "protected area". So much for luck. :(

The thief is actually Johnny who has a claim next to him but his hearth is on Flash79's claim.

The citizens of a couple towns have come together and have hunted Johnny down.

Just as I heard reports that he'd stolen things from the South East and I got ready to help out, he dies. Typical. :(
