So, how does this affect you?

If you live within the circle, I may at some time, come through your property and take supplies, such as tea or meat. I will not take material goods that have any real value, nor will I damage your property. Think of this as tribute. If you live within this circle I shall also protect you from theives. Any thefts reported to me will be followed up, and most likely result in me killing the thief.

The first town that resisted has fallen. Valuetown has been destroyed for stealing, harbouring thieves and refusing to hand him over.

After lengthy negotation, Valuetown is now a serfdom under my control. It is thus under my protection.
