Formal apology to Rift on behalf of CoB

Postby ArPharazon » Tue Sep 15, 2009 6:58 pm

Hi, this is Cally from #Haven. I'd impersonated TheEnigmist a while back and conned you to run away with some wrought iron. I gave it back yesterday, but anyway, I'm sorry about the whole thing, it was kind of douche-ey of me to do. We were pretty worried about getting to the coal first, and I guess I got a bit carried away. That, and, I guess I was wondering if it would actually work.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience. Are we cool now?

We are not 'cool'. I accept your apology.
Given that the wrongdoing was admited, and the goods returned, i am willing to leave your punishment in the hands of your goverment [the CoB], and not directly seek to punish you.
However, more then the matter of stealing from me, the fact you tried in the same motion to direct my attention in such a way as to make me hunt down [and possibly kill] a completely innocent person isn't forgiveable... the only reason i did not do so, was because i managed to figure out who you really were relatively quickly after the crime.
In the end however, i wont forgive you so easily.
I trust the CoB enough to leave you in their hands, as they are a morally righteous folk.
However while i concider the matter settled, you are not welcome in the Cake province, and i would highly suggest that being seen there would be a gross danger to you.

Cally has been sentenced to preform community service, in the construction of one thousand bricks.

I should also point out that all of this embarrassing drama has acted as punishment to Cally, as well, to some extent.
The grumpiest tree you ever did see.

Character: Hamel, previously Chieftain of Ancient Bottleneck, a founding father of the Confederation of Bottleneck. Currently a hibernating soul.
