Peasant's revolution

Postby Peter » Mon Oct 05, 2009 11:01 pm

I know that there are many of us who feel that "Gold's" total monopoly of the gold market is oppressive. Most players are completely unable to acquire the expensive goods that he demands in exchange for gold.

But he hides behind a psudonym because he knows that he is weak before a true uprising. If the exploited rise up against his practices, we will wipe him out from sheer numbers. That is all we must do. PM me if you are interested in joining us as we attempt to find his mine and take it for the good of everyone.
Surprise.

It's called a horde. We don't trade for stuff.

I encourage anyone interested in joining our revolution to practice archery; in this way even those who are stronger than us may be felled by many arrows; and we can take advantage of defensive baricades. And, of course, we will be able to make all our weapons without metal.
Surprise.

Whilst I like the idea, I have a feeling you're all going to get massacred. I'll pass.

Yeah, that's gonna work.
Gold is expensive 'cause it's rare.
Also, for a revolution one side needs to have power, when it's about goods it's called a robbery.

He's not exploiting you, he just has something and you don't.

I agree with the two posts above me. Also,
I know that there are many of us who feel that "Gold's" total monopoly of the gold market is oppressive. Most players are completely unable to acquire the expensive goods that he demands in exchange for gold.

Most people in the times that H&H is based around couldn't afford gold. Duh? Just because you want it and can't afford it doesn't mean you should go and destroy him, then take over his mine.

he knows that he is weak before a true uprising.

we will wipe him out from sheer numbers.

Hiding from a mob of people trying to wipe you out doesn't make you weak, it makes you smart.

also it's like, fairly reasonably priced now? it was just overpriced at first as a strategy, and after that was successful, the price was lowered. so go find some cavebulbs or make some silk or steel.
