Nope. That is just exactly the way it is. The goons had their protection racket, and the Hounds showed them that they were not, in fact, the baddest players in the game. Heck, it wasn't even difficult.

Seriously, if you want a kingdom, claim an area. If you claim the whole game...

The Hounds are going to get you.

Sure, but like 4 threads have been made about this fiasco now, one of them being a 10 page bitchfest. It's alright saying it once or twice, but now you go and make a thread about how he was 'smited by the force of Xanadu' or whatever.

I think this thread was necessary because from our perspective, we are seeing that a lot of people dont understand why the raid was undertaken at all, or seem to believe Delamore is right to say we shouldn't have killed his newbies, or other such things. Wether they admit it or not we did everyone a big favor except for, well Chernobyl.

Take for instance Agarret's notion that he chooses to remain "neutral"... that makes no sense. One side wants to financially enslave him, the other side just wants to keep that from happening. How can you be "neutral" in that situation? I think things like these are largely why Jorb made this new thread.

People don't seem to remember that Xanadu was created specifically for the purpose of fighting the evil that is/was Chernobyl. People especially don't seem to take advantage of the free of charge totally no strings attached protection that Xanadu offers in the eastern grid.

At any rate I'm pleased to see that Delamore isn't at the moment trying to extort anyone but not so pleased about the fact that ,judging from the name of his thread, he intends to continue his scheme at some point in the future.

Furthermore I think the drawing alone is very nice and worth making a thread for. it took some time for Jorb to make it so at least stop your catty comments for one second to comment on it, I for one think it's very nice, but of course *I* would.

Thanks for mentioning me Jorb :)

The artwork is great, this type of conflict is the exact type of thing to get new players into the game.
Real action makes the game stay interesting.

Do not insult the intelligence of your fellow hearthling by spouting vague generalities, goon. Speak like a hearthling among hearthlings, or have your tongue cut out and thrown to the bears.

Have you even bothered to deny your malign intentions, directed at every free soul on the Hearth? At Macomb? At Warrri? At Herule? Or is the arrogance of Chernobyl simply too great for you to bother?

Long live The Hounds of Xanadu. Forward the flags of freedom.

He's just trying to seem like a noble
leader of an opposing army that was
merely trying to get players into this
game, only thing is that he happened
to be killing anyone not in his party
and only giving supplies to the goon
army.

If we lose touch with our humanity then
we lose sight of the world and it becomes
not a fun thing but a gruesome game with
business-like fighting where they can't offend
the other side or try to make one side seem
better.
if one side doesn't call the other evil whenever
it draws blood, then what motives would we
have for vengeance?

Those evil Xanadu BEASTS broke in and slaughtered
us all and killed our leader as he ran for his life.

Those savage Chernobyl's decimated a noble and
peaceful group of our players and took the
leader's robe as a trophy for all to see.

Xanadu is not the "good side" we merely have
morals, whether the opposing force does or
not.... we don't care, you force people into
hiding and the Hounds will be at your door.

And so, the Hounds of Xanadu defeat the Chernobyl gang in another daring swordfight, once again making the planes safe for all who live bravely in the untained west, no matter race, nor creed, the Hounds of Xanadu stand for truth and justice for all.
