This thread is discuss the war that is almost positive to come. If possible, we should try to prevent the war for the welfare of both sides.

I believe that the goons should step down as overlords, because no one is overlord of this game (besides Jorb and Loftar). Everyone else must stop hostility with the goons and treat them as equal, not as overlords nor lowly bugs. If none of this happens, then the war will come, and many people will die. Then again, you may want war, either way, I am not going to get involved other than this thread and talking about it. I am not taking sides, nor telling my location to anyone I do not trust.

The goons WANT war, it's their nature. Whether other people (which they call pubbies) try to fight back is the issue.

Also, it depends on what you define as 'war'. I wouldn't simply call a threat against or coming from goons a war, unless some PvP battle ensues without town property getting involved (which it probably won't unless it's scheduled, which is unlikely). A lot of people already choose to attack Goons on sight regardless of who they are, which I wouldn't call war either. War to me is when two groups fight and one group wins, which is hard to come by on this sort of game unless every person and their claims are destroyed and they end up quitting. Right now you can just make an alt, rebuild and regroup, which would take a week or longer.

As for that 'Pie crusade thing'... Don't expect much..

You are a bit clueless. We have been in a war for some time now. When Delamore demanded every one pay him or else suffer being looted or killed, that amounted to a declaration of war. Are you even aware of the goons raid oof the town of Macomb ? if that isn't ana ct of war then what is?

Xanadu merely retaliated and made good on its promise to do everything it can to keep people like you, Agarret, from having to tribute the goons.

And the war wages on. It will until the goons declare publicly that they no longer now nor will they ever again demand tribute from the entire world. MAny people have already died. it's like you think that just because this war has not affected you personally, it hasnt started yet. it had started before you even joined the game.

Somebody HAS retaliated. Goons attacked Macomb, Xanadu retaliated by killing Delamore and a few others. The tension has always been there since the Goons first started their extortion racket. Right now it's not an extremely large war that effects everybody, but it's war alright.
