While you are correct, the goons are the real cowards, they risk nothing in the grand scheme of things because they create alternative accounts to grind up skills to steal. Even their mains who might take retribution only do so while they are certain the people are asleep IRL and pose no threat.

It is this mechanism in this game that empowers goons.

I say that Jorb and Loftar should make it so initiating combat with a thief and even murdering them, should produce NO FUCKING SCENT.

At the same time, fighting in self defense, and even giving a killing blow from combat that was self defense should produce NO FUCKING SCENT as well.

Also - Fighting people you force spawn from hearth fire should have them automatically defend themselves.

Murdering thieves you spawn while they are offline should result in a scent, however.. Stealing from them while they are unconscious should not. The difference here is that a thief who is online can speak even lure and outsmart their hunters.. spawning them produces no such advantage.

As it stands, victims are suffering the most, despite everyone knowing who is truly at guilt, and the alts and other real accounts of these asshole players are scooping up scents and hiding shit, they can just as easily track the person who sought JUSTICE and kill them while they sleep. This game should distinguish crime and punishment, for fuck sakes.

Nice way to start a rant off, because Gaiadin some how got killed by alts.
Also the fact that scents from the raid pointed to me and other goons (Or Xanadu lied and we used alts)

Access mainly. also, well developed alts need do little more than sit still while a massive community fattens them up on food while they drink water and level attributes, they become a paragon of sorts for goons, Meaning that an alt can be far more powerful than a main when it comes to goons.

Since they are more like an industrial factory, and less a faction or group of people.

*Addendum*

Quite a few goons share alt accounts to gain access at all times so there is always something going on.
