The birth of a master thief?

Postby Haba » Tue Nov 17, 2009 7:19 pm

During the weekend, I had the misfortune of meeting a dashing young lad by the nickname of 'shawn'.

The fellow was very impressed by my bear cape, and demanded that I tell him where he may find bears. I tried to explain that I was quite busy with my own thing, and that if he'd simply follow the way I came he'd find a bear.

Shortly after that, he came back and begun to loot the house nearby. I paid no attention, and just continued skinning and butchering my prey... untill he had the gall to walk up to my boat, pick up the basket in it and proceed to empty it into his pockets. Since I was in the middle of skinning operation, I could but watch with my mouth gaping open.

The fellow quickly got in to his boat and ran away, taking the time to shout "u shoulda showed me the bear!1"

I thought about chasing after him and finishing him off, but he seemed so childish that I realized that he probably really is a child.

Today, I was making my way back from an extended hunting trip in the wilds. And who do I see sleeping in a bed, right in the middle of a forest in IX territory? Well isn't it my old friend shawn! He had made a claim, and left a cupboard out in the woods. My curiosity got the best of me, so I decided to peek in.

This obvious newbie, who didn't even know how to find bears, had a full assortment of hats, a pick-axe, a scythe and more than 10 silk moth eggs.
Chuckling to myself, I left the claim to be. Clearly mr. shawn had already made some friends.

So, if you are missing a scythe, a pick-axe or some silk moth eggs -- be sure to find out shawn. He can be found on the river above Ouroboros Farm.

Then no-one would have benefited from it.

A better solution would have been to take it and re-distribute it to new players at brodgar

You lieing piece of ****.
1: my cupboard was in my boat, on my claim.
2: if you didn't come onto my claim and STEAL my boat and my cupboard, why can i not only you but also "stolen object?"
3: if u simply walked away chuckling to yourself, why did u leave a rune stone laughing at me?
4: i did no such thing, i asked u where a bear was and u told me to "**** off", i simply was just getting back at you.

I must say that instead of righting on game forums, maybe you should right FICTIONAL children stories. You see you managed to not only convince a couple of retards that I'm the bad guy here AND made up quiet the little enraging story. Unfortunately for you, these things don't make u look good my friend, and sadly...I'm the one who has proof : ( I do however apologize because you are quiet right, me taking vengeance was rather childish. Whats more though is stealing.

For those who wan to read MY side of the story read "sweet dreams" in the Brodgar forums

P.S
For those of you that just simply listen to this idiot with out even talking to me..."shawn", instead of being ***hats why don't you do something useful and NOT give him helpful hints of what he should of done.

Happy? i edited it

Hey i just thought of something. Is it at all possible that because the big gay baby thought it was worth posting on the forums over what i did to get revenge that someone came and left a rune stone and stole my things from my boat? Its possible that since he did leave my location that someone wanted something out of the things described that he thought i stole WHICH I DIDN'T! They could of left the cupboard out of the boat and it of decayed immediate. then he could of come along seeing it was out and thought of what a noob i was. I'm not as much of a noob as you think dude, just wanted to know if you had seen any bears lately. The main point of this is i take back my previous statement of kill him because its entirely possible that he really didn't do anything, I'm still moving away again though u bastard. Sigh, as soon as i get another boat.
