I'm a goon, being that I'm a member of the SA forum, and I joined this game on recommendation from the bay12 guys. As I've been playing for about three days now and done nothing even remotely troll-like nor have any intention to can I ask you not to group all goons as players like this.

In fact if anything I'd have said the majority of goons are a huge plus for any mmo, we tend to build far far more than we destroy and almost always have extensive and public documentation and faq that helps new players.

I'll admit there are bad apples but that is true of any group, goon is just a convenient label for you to abuse. I for one certainly don't have contempt for this game or any of the games I play.

It IS possible that they DO respect the game but are just going about it the wrong way. They want unquestioned dominance so they periodically raid other villages and towns with murder alts to instigate the strong-ish players to leave scents so that they can be killed while sleeping.

At least this is how I see it.

They raid and destroy productivity in other players to slow them down, this garantees a foothold for them.

They dont need to kill other players though. This is what pisses people off, another thing that pisses people off is that they dont carve a region out for themselves, they want the whole god damned fucking world.
