Well, if you have a palisade, chances are it is still very bashable, so you might not want to speak too soon.


Basically if you rush Vandalism you can start bashing people as soon as you get it, and they'd have no recourse. Great mechanics!

Idiot. Leather takes a while, you can't get soak up before people have vandalism, by rushing I mean simply buying the skill. We have plenty of characters that could have, but we didn't really think about palibashing given the current soak mechanics. I'm sure we could have bashed everyone in the world yesterday if we would have thought about it.

yeah its pretty stupid problem that probably only exists because of icicles. bad luck really. but I guess leaving scents early is cause in both cases of being targeted?

No-one has blamed icicles, getting the prereq. LP before soak is full is easy even without icicles.
Icicles is just yet another badly tuned mechanic, but it has nothing to do with this thread.

Also, as for scents, sure, we were fairly visible, but even if we hadn't left scents, we still could have gotten bashed just as easily, so it's only vaguely related.
