First: Thanks for this nice client!
Then you could open windows at either the coords the server gives (or whereever the coords come from) or should the dict contain coords for the name of the windows to open pull them from there?
Surely this would pop up eg. seedbags always at the same place (where you closed the last one), but it should solve the other issues for most windows...
Could you not simply keep dictionary keyed with the window names (simple strings) with close positions of the windows as data?EnderWiggin wrote:for some windows (like inventory) this would be not easy to implement. But I'll think about it.Lilboarder32 wrote:Now that the client is up and running. I will pose this question about the client: Should window positions save? Or is that a feature you would need to add? For example, I open up the inventory with the tab key, then move it a bit closer to the side of the window to free up more space in the middle, but when I reopen it, it pops back to its original position.

When using start, if your first command is in quotes, the remaining arguments are treated as other commands to run, not as arguments to the first command.drkpagan wrote:Don't suppose anyone could tell me what i'm doing wrong here?
If you wish to use start, put java into the path variable correctly (look up documentation on path in Win Vista/Win 7) and then just run java.exe -D etc..etc.. without quotes.
Or, take out start, and it will run but not hide cmd window - which can be HIGHLY useful as it shows you error messages from Java - so if crashes occur you have something to post to here with questions!

You won't be saying that in a week or two when you realize how many abandoned homes there are. A 30 second boat ride south of my village literally bring you to the ghetto. There's abandoned claims everywhere with the occasional newb taking things and raiders patrolling. It reminds me of Detroit.

Re: Game Client modified by Ender

heres the message thingy.
EDIT
The picture doesn't seem to be working...
Well, whenever I press the "Run.bat" it should be working, right?
Well, it tells me that it could not access jarfile "haven.jar"
Haven.jar is right there, clear as rain. Any suggestions?
