That's mine.
Try:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\javaw"
And you must have the " " marks

Re: Game Client modified by Ender
I need help with the command prompt thing.
For some reason when I open mines it opens with
C:\Users\User> (Something)
So I can't enter anything after that since it takes it as a batch file and and says 'Something' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
How do I open command prompt without the > already there?
I'm trying to find the pause command thing since nothing else has seemed to help me so far.

The is the prompt, the CMD window usually opens in your user directory
you'd better post your run.bat (in code tags) so we can see what's wrong with it - probably you missed or misstyped something as you got not recognized message
i.e.
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe"
Code: Select all

Re: Game Client modified by Ender
So I reinstalled Windows XP on my laptop and now Ender's won't work properly anymore.
I can log in completely normal & choose a character, start where I logged out and then it loads a bit of the area I'm logged out in, just the simplified map and almost nothing of the UI and then it just stops doing anything, it won't let me move or open windows. I have to close it via the taskmanager because just hitting the x won't do anything.
I've done a fresh install & updated it, I also tried replacing the haven-res with the one from mvgulik that was linked in this thread, nothing worked
Vanilla client works well.
Here are some specs:
Packard Bell EasyNote (dunno further descriptions)
ATI Radeon Xpress 200M Series File Version 6.14.10.0303
Windows XP 32-bit
Java7U25 32-bit Javawpath: C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\javaw
Connected via WLAN
my run.bat:

updater: pyrhon error
Every time I try to use updater, I keep getting:
What to do?
That's what console window says. What's more, there appears a window prompting to close the updater and send report to microsoft.Fatal Python error: cannot get zipimporter instance
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
What to do?

@nabie
did you unpack the updater.7z and copied into Ender folder?
did you unpack the updater.7z and copied into Ender folder?
It might also be that your updater download is corrupt. The message appearing sending a report to MS about the crash is normal behaviour when an application crashes in windows - just click "don't send"Ender wrote:To install it just extract contents of archive into game folder

Ender wrote:To install it just extract contents of archive into game folder
do I just extract the library.zip into the game folder cause I'm guessing that's what the archive is.

@Martiney
look into this path
this is the archive: updater.7z (7z is the file extension used by freeware 7zip packer/unpacker - http://www.7zip.org ) - it contains a folder "updater" and a file "updater.cfg" - both go into Ender folder - there's no need to unpack anything inside the updater folder
btw. it was an answer to nabie

And what about solving one problem at a time ?!?
look into this path
in windows explorer and make sure it's correct, also it should be used with Ender_x64 only as it's the path to Java 64 Bit - Java 32 Bit would be in C:Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe and is for use with Ender_x32C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe
