A new map generator will have terraforming? If so I'm guessing either way all of that will come with an inevitable wipe. It would be fun to see large roads made and actually servce a purpose, as well as being able to use wagons on them.
I'm sure this is all a good deals away though.

Offtopic: Nothing from this guide really changed except:
7. Invest in some good
bronze and equip all your villagers.
I think this should be steel if you can afford it, considering most people are willing to sell just about any metal at a decent price for chants, blueberries, cavebulbs, etc. , it's worth going for the steel if you can. Sure you might be able to get a bronze plate for 4 chests of chants and steel might cost you 8 large chests, but it's worth the difference when you purely deflect about 50 more points at q10 (and that adds up big time!)
Edit: This might not always be the case but as it stands I know there are many people out there always actively making steel and looking to sell it for a good price.
