Actually, it turns out, haven-res has stayed the same. it's actually haven.jar that has changed. I've hosted a modified version of haven.jar on my server: link
Just place it in your client folder.
For people who don't want to mess around, I've also provided a full download of the gilbertus client, with the better haven.jar and the fixed run.bat: link
How I did it: I extracted haven.jar, and compare the contents of the old haven.jar vs the new haven.jar, and the old haven.jar vs gilbertus' haven.jar. Then I copied over all files which had changed in the new vs old, but weren't changed in gilbertus vs old.
Here's a list of what I copied:And here's a list of what changed between old and new, but I didn't copy because it also changed between old and gilbertus. If I would copy that over, I might overwrite gilbertus' modifications.

This method should work for pacho's/gothfox as well.
Please note that I am not taking over development of the custom client or anything. All I did was shuffle around some files.
Thanks to Buch for the original explanation that it could be made to run by just copying the Session*.class files.

Not everyone is a computer nerd on the internet, i really dont wanna mess around with codes and stuff that i know nothing about, nor have any clue how to.
One man can change it, intead of every single player must sit around and try to figure out how to change it risking messing stuff up.
I wish the default client would atleast have possibility of fullscreen for times like this *wink wink*. I just cant bare to play at all wile waiting for an update of the custom clients, not with that tiny client window it is just horror.
Happened with the update, apparently. According to Avu:burgingham wrote:Thanks alot. One question, you cannot see the names of kins popping up over their head with this client. Is this a common problem with gilbetus or did that happen with the update? In any case, how to fix it?
Avu wrote:<Avu> the ones I can see [on the screen are still visible on mouseover] but it seems I can see only non villagers like that
<Avu> the ones in the same village is like I don't have kinned at all
