Oh Jesus Christ wake the fuck up.

LP are a means to an end. They are what stands between me and fun. I don't grind because grinding is fun. Nobody enjoys fucking grinding. They do it because it gets them something they can USE. Combat. Boats. Property. Houses. Farms. Grinding has been replaced by waiting. In either event, I can't do what I want to do because there are barriers in place. The only difference is that now I have no real control over how fast the barriers are broken down.

I have houses (one's a vacation home) and a boat, and I've been only half-assing this. It's not that bad. Srsly.

I'm with Sousha. The game seems to encourage non-play now. More time logged off, less time logged in and enjoying myself. Granted, LP grinding IS boring, constructing a village with my friends was why I originally got into this game, and the grind was made not-so-bad by knowing that I could level up my skills as fast or slow as I pleased. I think a hard cap should have been placed on all skills and attributes (like 100, or 150). Sure, you reach your maximum potential at SOME point (not terribly quickly) but it allows people to play on a more-or-less level playing field end-game.

Know what's even better? Not being able to afford Yeomanry and having players spawning near you only to steal your dried rabbit furs off the rack while you're offline (waiting for your studies to finish). GG Jorb. "Great" game you have here.

hi dipshit, check the regdate, i've been playing this game steady for almost a year and a half now. trust me, i know about grinding and i know goddamn well what LP is for.

sounds to me like you haven't figured out how to get over the hurdles. we are estimating that a q20 ant soldier will be worth about 1k at 360 learning.

Games too slow now, but I like the slowness and new content.

Wish it was a bit faster, though.

Agreed. I got 1000 lp for my ant queen at 167%. That's going to be crazy at 300%. And if I crank tea before that?

OH GOD, BITZA. TEA IS GOING TO BE GOD JUICE FOR NEWBS. Give them q200 tea. They drink tea right before curiosity dings. + MAJOR LP

Shousha pretty much nailed this one on the dot. This new system is retarded. And I mean that in the most literal of senses. It's way to slow to accomplish anything in a reasonable amount of time without just sitting there and waiting for your Studies to finish.
