Maybe it would be a good Idea by the mods to tell us folks who did test and for how long - i think if you've got a week already it explains why you're in the game yet and lots of us aren't

1. Normal peoples cant play 24h. So you can put a doll to study and go to sleep = )
2. New character at hh world commonly need a houses, wells, kilns, etc. For build all that and find parallel food and bones you always need a time. So you can put a doll to study and go for lumber.
3. Lp amount from curs depends on its quality. So find a acr clay 60+, create a curs, set it to study for a day .... profit!

Big problem in new world not a lp, but a fish - fish places depletes very fast = (

Most of which are 'abloooo ablooo'.

Seems like most HnH players have their slider set to full tradition.

The test server was only up for a week or so and that was several months ago. The system also has changed quite a bit to what we tested there.

The devs do not favour us in any way, despite what Rhiannon claims. We started with brand new characters, without any bonusses or special abilities, yesterday as well. Just like all of you did. I just happen to play with a group of about 40 or so very coordinated people who have all played this game for quite a long time, always in bigger communities. Organizational skills and teamwork is where it is at. When you lack those you have to make up some bullshit of us being the devs favourites or something. (In before: Jorb removed cliffs in Sodom. Yeah that was a one time thing and he isn't very proud of it either.)

That is true to a certain extent I guess. I knew what many of the curiosities look like and where they could be found. The study system is completely different to what we tested though.

i think there may be a few things people aren't thinking about when they are boo hooing the new system.

1) you're probably not at 360 learning (full change, peaceful). there's a HUGE difference when your sliders aren't there.
2) everything you're crafting right now, your chariots and dolls, are low quality due to materials and skills (carp? survival? dex for pottery?). curios scale with quality, as you advance so will the LP from them.
3) if you're feeling like you're "falling behind" by not playing 24/7 (as i often did), remember there are no more botters, and everyone else is having the same troubles.

don't worry about what's around the next bend, explore more, try and get into the 'wilderness survival' aspect of the early game, if your shit is getting jacked cause you have no yeoman, either move, or keep your valuables in your inventory when you log.

in other words, hang in there and run the full course before you say "This shit sucks! i wanna go back to bucket grinding and letting botters have 4 mil LP per week!"
