Well that must be changed, I was pretty sure you could change it before. Are you sure you're emptying the stand completely, ie clearing both items for sale and payment?

making a market, have tested this on around six different stands now!!

we wouldnt want it to work that way to begin with, it would require you to waste a barter slot on something stupid to reserve the stand

What is a Favor?

an abstracted private currency

so like instead of setting three different prices for your linen, you could trade linen for favors and have a separate stand set up where you sell favors for various things you want

Do you mean signed/sealed scraps of parchment with In god we trust and Masonic symbols on them?
I thought the devs did not want fiat currency?
Do you mean a way of formalizing or broadcasting agreements like "if you build a road from A to B, I'll give you a bronze steed"?
Wouldn't it be better to implement some variant of the much discussed Bulletin Board for that?

ugh no jesus christ thats not it at all. im not sure how to make this any simpler to understand. what in the world does it have to do with bulletin boards?

Favors are "kin points" not an actual item. the number of points you have earned with that person appears in their stands and kinlist entry. if you needed an item to work the stand interface i was thinking they could replace Dreams since no one sells or buys those

1 Blueberry Pie for 1 Favor
1 Favor for 1 Raw Boar Meat
1 Favor for 4 Mussels
1 Favor for 5 Plant Fibres
1 Favor for 6 Wheatseed

gives people more spending options, which increases likelihood of you actually selling your goods. by directly selling pies for 6 wheat or 5 fibre, my target market is limited to farmers. By including Favors, my target market has now increased to include explorers and hunters

which also why i would really like to see pricebug fixed, the current stands prevent certain specializations like explorer or cook from trading their goods!
