Let us reflect upon the good he was able to do during his short time in the hearthlands.
Let us remind ourselves of his bravery and willingness to fight for the safety of his friends!
Let us hope he can surpass his previous achievements in his future lives.

The game get's pretty boring without any action and it could help solve permanent death also. If you get infected by a zombie and die, you don't have to remake a character but you instead become a zombie trying to kill other hearth lings. Zombie games are indeed pretty overdone now but zombie survival is actually pretty fun and challenging.

Either way, regarding the OP? No. Just No. Not fitting for the time period, or the genre.
time period? Zombies are just restricted to modern times, it would even be harder in middle age era (bows and swords). Also not sure what you mean by genre, H&H is a survival game against the elements and other heath lings, why not just add zombies into the mix.
