You know you could just mod all the animals' graphics to be zombies. Make the trees and land scape look like what ever zombie genre. Oh and make the B-Axe a chainsaw on a stick. Changeable graphics allow you to immerse yourself in whatever world you want to. Just sayin'.

Some kind of eventful end of world scenario could actually be good.

I like this game because it is about nature.
Zombies would ruin it (But would be awesome too ;-; )

I like the idea of a zombie apocalypse at the end of this world, but at no other time. That would be stupid

Yes please spend your time coding complex AI scenarios and making plenty of new art assets that will only be used for 1/500th of the time that anybody plays this game, instead of addressing the dozens of bugs or making new and useful content.

Need not be too complex if done for end of world (after all it is fairly pointless) just do somthing like put a new skin on bears and make them spawn more (and perhaps move slower)

Have no idea of how much work it would actually be, but could be an interesting end of world (still I do agree with other stuff like bug fixes and improvements being higher priorities)

A possible idea is to take ALL the dead hearthlings players used, and raise them as the living dead.
You will then be able to see the names of the undead hearthlings.

Then add a simple AI for them, give them a hefty amount of stats based on the stats of the dead hearthling, and have the stats decay very very slow over times (as in real time weeks) and have them unable to despawn (in terms of stats and naming) from the game, but appears randomly throughout the map.

Give them zombie attack skills and maneuvers, and build a combat system designed for slaying these fiends.

The fun bit is that you can try something like this at the end of every world, to show a "end of the world" scenario (otherwise the devs would simply do some sort of volcano or plague or something to wipe the server rather than wiping it normally).
