Suikoden bestest.

Addendum: Turns out it wasn't a random raid, but planned and executed. Who knew, heh. :D

Anyone have any idea how they got in? And how can one prevent from falling prey to this?

Well, a newbie in a toga from upriver came drifting down, annoying one of my villagers, and stole a boat. Chase was on, 20 minutes later we had him cornered on land. He hopped out, stole our boat. We got his, with a boar inside.

I know the region well, and the people, I have great trading relations with most of them.

There were some russians I attacked weeks ago to the east, because they looked like newbie thieves who have fled to this region. A timber house full of random shit, random chests. Large chests. One small claim, a little farm on the go, no palisades. Best to remove them whilst they were young. One got away, called in some big russian fellow with a sword to kill me. Easy chase on the river, I was having fun, asked a neighbour to take me in, wouldn't, settled in for a long boat ride, then my Laptop overheated. Shut down. Logged in, boat-smashed.

Then the last couple of days, we took a newbie in under our wing. Turned out to be the most annoying, consuming, useless fellow I've ever known. We executed him in a basement. He logged in a dozen alts or so and attempted to annoy us for a couple of days. We called in the only murder-skilled fellow in the village to kill his alts as he logged in the second day.

However, none of the above knew of the second location they appear to have had two guys at. We had a second base to the south, 15 minutes boat or so, mining operations on the go in an abandoned settlement. They had two guys there, and two guys at our place (Reportedly). So, we're stumped on that matter. :)

Was definately coordinated, within mins of stuff starting I fled to the mining operations some distance away - already on my way there on a hunting trip (took a min tops). My husband went a different way, as I knew there were my scents from the escapade's of said noob who made random alts to annoy us and spam our village with hearth fires yesterday. My husband fled, he got away, I went into the mine, made HF and checked the village with an alt. Rangers were there at the village as I logged in, my husband was chased my 2 rangers who were at the river next to the mining operations base at the very same time when he arrived.

Personally, I would like to know why 'every' villager and 'every' person within 2~3 map tiles was targetted, not all the people who died today were village members of Gregminster and would like for someone to track them, so I know where they live and have the relevant action taken.

Projeer, you were murdered because you are Azkanan. You have continually attempted to negotiate above your station, and your character was complete garbage. If this raid didn't come, you would have been killed anyway, and your apprentices that follow in your example of lies, treachery, and CAPITALISM.

Our region is protected. Your ilk will not be indulged.

I warn your village mates not to follow in your example, and to cease undermining all villages around you in search for their mines. You will all be slaughtered if you continue this.

Also, they abused no bug. Your defenses were poor.

Whoa whoa whoa, you killed him because he believed in capitalism? What kind of justification is that?

I feel for you. Nobody deserves to be slaughtered because of their beliefs. Let the hand that held the blade feel its sting, I say.

I would be interested in making a counter-attack against these fellows if anyone is planning something.
