I'll just play like a bitch for as long as I can lol

I think you misunderstand me. You WANT a palisade. You just need to make sure you don't screw it up. However, it is kind of difficult to get up. Ask some neighbors. They might be willing to help. In the mean time, at least make sure you have a roundpole fence up and covered by a claim. It then requires someone to break the fence with vandalism instead of just waltzing in.

No I understand that it serves to protect what you've built but..

I won't be expanding much more than this, so I think I will be focusing on some other things rather than a palisade because I haven't got many material possessions that I can't replace rather quickly

You're going to want a lot more farm than that just as a solo player. I think I covered nearly half the radius of a beehive just by myself with nothing being wasted last world. (and the world ended prematurely!)

Just make sure to fence around everything you don't want to walk away. Also, get rid of the gate. You can remove and replace a section of fence in little time. It forces would-be raiders to leave vandalism scents on top of any theft or trespassing. This means they can be summoned and killed for their offensive actions.

O okay, I'll remove the gates
And I see about the farming
I haven't much clue about how much materials I'll be needing

That hurts....
Was ..'practicing' fighting vs. fox
Forgot I wasn't full HHP..

I've never gone from 'this is one of the best games I've played' to 'I quit, straight up, I quit' so fast out of any game I've played ever.

Permadeath, now I understand lol.

Welp, inherited, starting up a new char, too bad I really liked the old ones name...oh well.
