Anyway i'm happy to see that the game is starting to move in the right direction. Not the "justice" or the "good" direction, just the Evolution-trade-big reign direction. Is something needed here in h&h.

am i the only one who got reminded of wwm's prophecy now?

i was paraphrasing Potjeh, I think. Raiding is a legitimate lifestyle of course, without raiders to make things tense i probably wouldn't like this game. But people claiming that all Dis (or Ainran) want to do is raid defenceless noobs are living in some weird alternate reality.

anyway still want statement from one of the elders on

so out of that mentioned grid, allyourbasearebelongtous

this is a project to make anyone out of that grid an enemy combatant? or is this just ranma trolling merrily ;)

you cant find another people with 'merrily' trolling other than me   ;)

We feel pretty bad when kill each other. Since Ainran and Dis grow up really trustworthy and respectful relationships even before the alliance we felt really symphathetic towards each other. Keeping killing each other after raids where we were standing back to back would only make us feel bad = not so much fun.
I hope, this kind of feeling are understandable. We are not just killing machines driven by endless need of blood. Also, Gunnar outlined it already 'we are free to ally with someone whom we like'.
Guess, it's evident, there is a huge impact on this alliance by personal relationships of the leaders as well.

i dont see why all the scepticism. anyone whose talked to people from Ainran or Dis, and have friendships with members in either factions knows that like everyone else playing this game there are some really awesome people there. and like anywhere else im sure you get your assholes.

i see smaller towns who are more ragey and destrcutive to new players than the big raiding factions.

Also people forget that these factions actually work to build up their resource base, to build up good tradeable items, which a lot of people buy and benefit from, theyre not just there to kill and raid, they explore every other aspect of the game also. and suggesting their primary purpose is just killing randoms seems wrong considering they have some of the best quality craftable items in the game.

ok, feel free to jump now. :P

Why ppl don't believe to this project? Cus they are afraid of or are full of hate to Ainran and Dis. I assume this proposition comes to newbies and casual players that actually has nothing to lose. I see couples of scenarios how this might end, most are rather skeptical, but still some players can use their chance and start a normal, balanced life in hearthlands.

Its not that i dont belive, i just see all this
1º Attention whoring, if you really want to make it well you first set it up, contact ingame with the noobs in the grid since most of them does not read forums.
2º If they want to clean their image doing this shit, its not gonna happen
3º Inb4 they just want to get slaves to pay them "taxes" and other kind of bullshit to keep going with the game, for me this project its only a v.2 of this try viewtopic.php?f=29&t=24814 AKA getting newbies to do boring tasks for you.
4º Its not easy to make a barter market since you can easily steal with an alt drown it and keep the stolen items in vaults.

Well, I am receiving PMs constantly since the beginning of the thread. Got like 10 people responded so far. There are some of them moving into the area. I guess, it is too far away from truth saying people do not believe. :)
Simply distrust was shown mostly by the biased people who suffers or suffered from us. There is no wonder they want to believe there is some hidden meaning and etc.

I don't think anyone is saying this is a bad idea, we are all just skeptical that the factions that have cheated and/or scumbagged their way through the game are the ones that will take this idea to it's peak level of efficiency and fairness. This is like if Stalin wanted to run your neighborhood watch.

Personally, I can't wait for this to go down and for the posts "Why did you kill me?" x 25 to appear in ICA with explanations ranging from "Whoops." and "You were too close to X." to "We are your overlords. We care not for your petty demands.".

I think some of you guys here are being a bit hypocrite. Especially Burgingham
Your saying these people will go back to there old ways very soon. Will never change? Did you forget about w2? Wayne Ville wasn't any different from ainran/Dis. Raiding villages, dominating the hearthlands and BS. And mostly everyone dis liked you guys. W3 you went from being assholes to a nice peaceful village. Hell even helped villages out. People change. Open your minds for once.
