FEATS OF STRENGTH

Postby farmchamp » Sun Oct 25, 2009 5:33 pm

Cookie to whoever gets the reference. It's a new skill that requires valor. The higher your STR, the more you can do with it.

level 50
Lift Boulders with large stamina drain

Level 60
Chip Stones twice as fast

Level 100
A hit on animals <5 will be stunned for 1 second.

Now you think of some FEATS OF STRENGTH!

WOW is hardly the first person to use the term :P

This is basically a "make str better" thread. I'm fine with that...after the weaker attributes are improved first. I'm pretty sure all that perception I grinded out when PER was worth something is totally useless now.

allow me to air some grievances.

Lift Boulders with large stamina drain - you can already make them into a runestone and carry them, or in the case of cellar boulders, just carry them.
Chip Stones twice as fast - pickaxe already does this
A hit on animals <5 will be stunned for 1 second. - lol. animals under lvl 5 don't survive after one hit from me.

Yes, we definitely need to have all attributes skills and combat overhauled before we start adding perks and feats like in Fallout series.

I really hope next weeks update gives us farm animal taming. Then we can keep them healthy and bring their quality up, and have them reproduce a young fair quality calf or chick. For more quality milk, wool, leather, and meat. So that we don't have to keep hunting and hoping that they spawn nearby.

One can only hope.

This is supposed to be a silly thread, not a srs bsns. I think if you have 1000 STR you should be able to use the aluminum pole weapon.

even if this isnt serious the first suggestion is interesting, kind of like the gauntlets in zelda 3

probably better off tied directly to the attribute and not another skill value, though. "at 50 str you can lift boulders" not exactly super useful but still nice

A few more things would be useful:
Be able to move faster while lifting something.
Cut trees/stumps faster.

I can rip apart brick walls with my bare hands, why are stumps so much harder?
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.
