With regard to the annoying problem of logs permanently stuck on cliffs, barter stands, etc:
Jorb and Loftar should add a little intelligence to where the logs fall. After all, no real world lumberjack would intentionally drop a tree where it would be difficult to recover.
It would not take much logic to check for obstructions such as another tree or cliff or brick wall in each possible direction (east, west, north, or south).
The same sprite could be used if the tree fell to the west. Falling north or south would require a new sprite for the log, which is certainly doable.
I would suggest that east should be the default fall direction in cases where east is clear.

BW'ing the statues doesn't exactly help. They need to be rammed anyways . It's a great change. People shouldn't control huge amounts of land just because they claimed to it first. They should be able to lose it if they don't keep it safe.
