The fact is that players were affected by their decision. Whether or not the affected players were "good" is very much an opinion.

Depends if it drops their body there. (who wants to kill without loot?)

If this is true then the proccess of summoning itself should probably leave a murder scent now.

can't wait till they ninja patch swimming bears also.

anyway maybe a requirement of having the murder skill to summon someone without hf is a good idea, and it leaving murder scent also if not already.

also jorb maybe you could fix viewtopic.php?f=7&t=31406

in a similar manner, more deserving bagabouse surely

neither can i. can you elaborate please?
cause i had always seen you as one of the bad guys ;) and you know why.
also, you always pull that tanning tub or kiln/oven bug, but those chars who use the bugs dont commit any "crimes" to be summoned while summon-bug users DID leave scents to be summoned. it should not be compared. "eye for an eye, hand for a hand", but not "death for everything".

hey, with the farm bug, they actually had warned players long ago, like when they found out what was going on with farms.
if you were a vet as you call yourself, you should have heard of that for long and shouldnt have been surprised of the nukes. i had been waiting for it.

im all for this change for now, but hey, i do agree it should have been mentioned. not because for "good bagaboosers", but to deter bug-abuse from actually happening and discourage all players of bug-abuse.

heh, thats another thing they have said they want to do for long. <p.s.>read the last post before you suggest anything.

so, jorb, when you mentioned the "surprise" for w7 when w7 started, did you mean this?

Oh man, that would be so awesome.

And doughs should explode if baked with just one branch. Relevant.

You know I have thought about this one a lot. I really don't think its a bug. It is more allowing aa oven to heat up before using. This saves fuel and even in real life practice is what was done. You would heat your oven with the fuel and use built up heat to finish the item. Only in modern practice do be have quick start cooking options.

Just my thought.

Any bug being fixed at a random time is expected, so yeah, the farming fix was not unique in that sense. What is more surprising is when they actually announce such fixes prior to them happening.

Yeah and of course it is not a bug when you use twice less best-q-coal to make best-q-metal, same for tree pots etc. This is what ramones said - bugs can be used both in the way to make your life easier or to make some abusive things wich give you boost.

You can say it was used to circumvent other, bad game mechanics. Sure and that is probably true.

Aye, so that this game with it's amazing potential can be played enjoyably in its broken ass state.

So if I go and steal something I will get punished for that wether I knew that stealing was a crime or not. Same is true here.

Leave the bullshit at the door please, we've had enough of it. We're talking about the game here and not the juidiacial system in rl or how the founding fathers of this or that movement intended wtf ever yawning crap. We don't care.

The problem is that they change their own laws after more then 3 years of playing. It's not kinda fair to change rules and make characters die without any chance to know about it.
