then i dont understand your point of trying to explain this to me when im talking about domestic teleports.

Yeah, what I want is basically the crossroads system, except the crossroads need to be connected with a series of milestones. The connection should only by broken if non-liftable structures are intersecting the line from one milestone to the next. You could still use the milestones as you do now, for walking around the place, but you would also use them when teleporting from one crossroads to another.

thanks, i guess i was imagining something a bit different as i called it "perfect roads" ;) could you kindly give me a link to your original thread of this? ive read it quite a few times before, but i cannot locate it any more.

Then I was confused. My points regarding inter-village fast travel still stand but I don't know why you're even concerned about "domestic" fast travel in that case.

The benefits of removing inter-village fast travel far outweigh the negatives and I'll give a few examples:

1. If your village is raided, no longer will the raiders also gain access to several other villages through your crossroads.
2. Does NOT incentivize botting. If someone still wants to bot because they are lazy or that's what they have "fun" doing then they can go ahead and give it a try if they like but I do hope such a system would make this significantly more difficult.
3. Players are forced to come out of their walls. Say goodbye to the days of boring wall fights or players with scents hiding their hearthfire in a vault.
4. Players are forced to work together if they want meaningful commerce. My hope is that players will learn to cohabitate and create extensive networks of roads and fast travel systems between each other.
5. Branching off of 4, the world would hopefully become less hostile in the sense that not everyone runs at the sight of any other player. Online games are intended to have social aspects (not dissing hermits here but it's true), current Haven community is too afraid to play with each other because everyone is considered a threat.
6. A raider's HeAVEN is an active community that leaves their walls.

i was not really arguing about inter-village teleport for now, and ive already discussed my opinion enough on that one before on some other threads more than twice and i find it not worth our time repeating it again in here when its 2:30 am here.

my concern on domestic teleport is as i explained to potjeh in my last few posts.

Allow me to elaborate, I don't understand your concern because what you are concerned about is likely only a few more minutes of your time. Instead of having a crossroad setup directly beside your farm that ports inside the mansion where all the seeds and shit are you would now only have one that possibly takes you directly outside the building instead. Or, instead of having a crossroad that ports you a layer beneath the ground, you would instead have to place it just outside the minehole and enter manually. An inconvenience I'm sure but I don't really see how it is more of a discussion point than inter-village travel.

yes it is about a few mins of walking from your farming house to your cooking house or to a public tavern, or from a smelter to a stockhouse (at least nearby the door), and so on... i wasnt even talking about different layers as they would be "inter-village" teleport anyways, though i would like to have it allowed by multiple waypoints.
as daily routines become tedious enough, itll always motivate people to bot especially when it wasnt as tedious before. you are the one who claimed that farming is too tedious and you hate it and asked everyone else to list all the tedious parts of the game in some thread before. imagine carrying every dough you made to a village kitchen to bake by walking all the way all the time when you are one of the last joiners who didnt get your plot close enough to village facilities.

k well i forgot but it was just part of the example to get the point across anyways

I still don't think it increases the motivation to bot. Even with the current system as it is, botters still bot and those against it don't. That is just how it is and always will be. I've noticed there is a very big difference in what one person may consider to be added "tedium" and what another might consider to be added "content" or added "difficulty" or whatever.
