In b4 they add stone walls in between palisades and Brick walls because anyone with a wolf cape could probably break them with their bare hands.

I didnt think the palisade looked that weak. Its more that the thing built fast.

On the note of crappy walls, I'd love it if fences werent total trash. At least if maybe early game they were ok. Right now their only use is world day 1/2 claimed fence with no gate. Then vandalism happens...

To be fair, the required materials are makeshift, so it probably builds faster than it will in the end, currently requiring only a single block of wood per piece.

It probably won't build nearly that fast by the time we get our hands on it. =)

This random creature appears and you have the option to give it things or use stuff on it and treat it nicely/poorly and perhaps in return you will receive something nice or on the other hand it would run away because you keep trying to pour honey on it. Idk, the inclusion of strange little events like that sounds fun.

And you could take it out on its leash, and it would order the other villagers around, or you could fight other creatures with it.... Man, this is starting to sound familiar. :P

If you can recall, do you still have the same intentions with character development as you did in 2011? Something about making the world more "magic" and moving in a direction that leads to less spreadsheets and numbers and more lore.

That's certainly the ambition, at least. Time will have to tell how well we actually succeed with it. :)

Really? I don't want a Domovoi ..... :(
So does that also mean you are planning on going down the Salem route with witchcraft and all that type of thing?

Pls don't ever shut off Haven as it is now - I'll pay you to keep it going .... :D .... how much does it cost to run it? Lol.

I agree i prefer Haven more real. However this would be a perfect addition tot he beliefs system. If your full change such things would not really exist to you as they are superstition. Yet if your full tradition they are a real part of your life. It would certainly add flavor to beliefs. :)

I know; I'm very worried about a whole new generation of Haven players growing up not knowing how hard life can be. I'll probably just have to remove it again.

This is absolutely awesome. I can't express enough how much this feature is welcome, it'll make stuff like planting/sowing large fields feel much less grindy/like a chore.

Well, if the belief system is staying in the new version I could live with this, I only have one char that goes full trad and as she spends most of her time alone underground it's not surprising she has an over active imagination and has started seeing things that aren't really there, lol, maybe it will help do the mining. :)

Hey, if it finds me gold I'm all for it! :D

Tbh, I would rather think it would decrease the general desire for botting, seeing how it's no longer necessary for many basic things.

Like "open your cupboard full of food and click "eat" and you get ride of the plow and drink thing ?

Does anyone know when a playable release of haven and hearth 2 is going to be?
