Well considering that with the new PLEX token you can already trade game items for an item that would otherwise cost real world cash, I'm not sure that rule's valid any more.

Man, who even knows. There's literally a cash shop item in the shoppe that provides a month subscription that can be traded in-game. This isn't even trading cash for in-game stuff, it's money for money because they can't play otherwise and that's even more of a grey area. I say unless JLo specifically come over and say 'No.' and ban it, let it happen.

Hopefully more payment options could be worked out so this is needed less at least.

The main issue with something like this is that in-game items are covered by ToS as not jorbtar's fault if people get scammed out of them. However what happens when someone trades say, steam credit and is then laughed at with no game time token for it?
