Food Information Sheet

Postby mamotromico » Sun Sep 13, 2015 6:22 am

Hey, I just want to give a heads up that I'm back in the game and currently redoing the food spreadsheet, but I honestly have no idea how to make this good to use. With the addition of +2 possibilities and variable materials makes it insane to do on a simple spreadsheet. I'm currently filling the spreadsheet with non-variable food and trying to come up with a way to help visualize things like "what are the foods I should aim to eat if I want to increase X, Y and Z stat". It's such a situation that I'm considering making a desktop program for it.

Old post and spreadsheet:
Since RoB is now up for editing, I decided to share this spreadsheet so that everyone can help editing. Some of the information in this spreadsheet is acquired from different posts within this forum, and I'll try to credit whoever I got the information from.

Most of the fish info comes from viewtopic.php?f=42&t=41123
Thanks SuSavage

If you have any information that is not present in the spreadsheet, or some information that might help to fill that list (like a formula to calculate quality effects), feel free to post here and I'll try to update both the spreadsheet and the wiki.

koplio1989 wrote:Yo, the spreadsheet now has yellow and gray cells (and zeros instead of annoying zero div messages).

Gray cell means we can't calculate because we are missing stuff.
Yellow cell means there is an empty or zero value in this cell and needs to be replaced with proper data.

We are missing some info (usually it's the time) so keep an eye out and send us feedback so that the sheet should never share any color scheme with this disgusting forum. :D

I can't give you exact numbers because the quality of mine were all over the place but sweet beets (honey and beets) give ~1con 3.5cha

Edit: I'll just upload a picture Image

If you post the qualities (10,10,10) and the exact values the game shows (including Hunger and Energy), I could try testing if the same old quality multiplier still works

It'd be 1 con, 4 cha at q10. sqrt (8/10) is a bit under .9, .9 * 4 = 3.6

Yeah, it's still sqrt (q/10). The question is which quality is used. ;)
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Ok so I just confirmed what each value do.

Essence reduces the Satiate effect by:

Satiate = SatiateBase / sqrt ( Q / 10)

Substance reduces the amount of hunger you gain by the same formula

Hunger = HungerBase / sqrt ( Q / 10)

And Vitality increases all FEP bonus by the old quality formula:

FEP = FEPBase * sqrt ( Q / 10 )

Fixed some of the fish fep/stats and names.

I just realized that most FEP from roasts are written down with the Sizzling (25%) bonus on top. Fixing for base values.
