A Small Trade to make life easyer

Postby maze » Thu Sep 24, 2015 10:44 pm

The world is large, no dout about that.
but have you really traveled? let me show you in my travels.

Image

Today I traveled a bit to extend the folds & holes of my map.
my journeys today lead me to meet 2 hearthlings both who were kind & friendly.
It is these kinda of people I feel like we should try to protect above all else, fear has us hiding in our beholds; Even I don't dare take my mains out and only travel with an alt.

but with my small trade to these two today I hope I've given them both something of value to help in their own adventures.

my 1st adventure out today lead me to here~

Image

Here is where meet the first hearthling on my adventure.
She was truly scared of me.
She keep running back and forth like i was going to snipe em' with a bow,
Reminding me of the old HnH.

She also didn't want to kin me,
another old fear from old HnH

I attempted to make a trade with her
This is our conversion...

Image
Image

I ended up failed to get her to trade me or kin me
So I gave up, but as luck unfolds I found to tea bushs so i ran back to her camp to to try to make a trade again for her boat-

Image

We made our trade and happily parted our ways.
I gave Her with some new glasses & Curi
And I got to take the 2 tea bushs back in my new boat

[I shoulda took some screenshots of her camp I'm dearly sorry]

Ahh kicking back and watching my Tea leafs dry, now this is the life...

Image

~~~~
I looked at my map after noticing a large black dot of unexplored area. I now have a rule when im on my adventures. i will carry 5 barley seeds, 1 carrot, 5 flex and q10 glasses.
I figure most noobs would want the seeds and glasses and I would be able to get some food or curi on my adventures with small trades.
So i adventure out to the darkness of my map, seeing a few big towns
Image
Image
These guys seemed like real hole diggers :lol: they leveled their hole wall to be flat as can be.
Image
Little while down the road I jumped out of my chair a mile high (thanks ambers) as the alarm from unknown player went off.
I ran up to this hermit, digging the ground with his wooden shovel~ I only assume he just moved to the area
Image
I asked for pumpkin seeds since my village didnt have any and without even asking for anything in return he went and got some for me.
I saw he had no barley seeds or hemp. so I quickly gave him the ones I had- I then looked at his poor wooden shovel as he started to dig again~ I wanted to make his life easyer on him so i gave him the metal shovel I had been carrying around with me.
I watched him for a moment as he dug up the ground 10x faster then before then bid him good luck as I continued my journey...
your travels are heart warming, maze.
W3 to W6 - Blockland. Special mentions: New Avalon, Tarn of Hotdog, Red October.
W7 - Elvenia, til we all got lazy.
W8 - Cult of R'lyeh, til the deeps called us back.
W9 - Tartarus, til death/wizards came for the land itself.
W10 - ???, ruined and forgotten.
This toats reminds me of my W7 adventures.
There are always friendly hermits and villages around as long as you're willing to escape your comfort zone and explore a bit.
Postby maze » Tue Sep 29, 2015 5:03 pm
The world is large, no dout about that.
but have you really traveled? let me show you in my travels.
Image
I know you've been dieing to see what Core looks like, so today I thought I would travel on over to Core and take a few screenshots for you all, give you the down low on whats still there and all.
So CORE! unless you're living under a rock in the HnH community Core was the village that used a big exploit to to raid a few villages. funny thing is, maybe Core needed it :lol:
All the quilty in Core was crap. their trees were q12, their hides q20, their cows, pigs & sheep q3 :oops:, pretty much everything been loots that has any worth. a good number of empty chest laying around if you really want em.
So this is Core~ a scare on the world Image
Image
But pretty wild to look at Image
all the trees were basiclly q10 other then a few q13
