Na, 10% is already pretty stiff of a penalty for overeating. I don't think it's exploitative at all to eat at such a low gain rate. It serves its purpose of slowing down no-lifing while giving players who can't play as often a leg up.

Given that I know there were farming plans in world 8 that produced the equivalent of 1228 pumpkin pies a day, that's still the equivalent of 122.8 pumpkin pies a day. It is not outside of reason for such a thing to be done for your villages tank.
