The issue is, under no circumstances should it BE possible.

Hence the satiation system. Eating a thousand pumpkin pies is going to drop your baked goods satiation so damn low you'll get 1%. Then put into perspective you're essentially turning 1000 pumpkin pies into 1 at that point.

Not to mention the cutlery, or the time+resources required to manage the farm, cook the food, fuel the ovens, etc.

I agree with sabinati and Avu. As much as I hate alts still being a thing.

Edit: I also forgot there's a general Food satiation that applies to all foods. Get that to 1% and you're probably looking at 0 FEPs for eating literally anything regardless of how starving you are.

If you want to stuff 1228 pumpkin pies per day in your face, go wild.

The amount of effort it took to make those compared to the return you get for making them only 10% as efficient, or even 5~3% if you look at it from a 200/300% fep bonus perspective, could've probably been spend better elsewhere.

If a person properly uses variety foods and FEP boosts, the 10% is a huge penatly, but you'll still get a lot of CON from 1200 pies. Sure, you'd probably have gotten 10x as much with the same strategies if you'd waited to for that to burn back down to the 100% bonus or fed it to alts and spread it around (or, you know, shared it with other villagers), but you're not looking at just a couple of points, either.

Then again, consuming mass quantities was pretty much par for the course in prior worlds.

Right, because pumpkins take only 1 day to grow and also don't require barley, which also grows in one day

I would watch a video of someone snarfing down 1000 pies in one sitting regardless of its efficiency.

I don't think anyone would dispute that!

Was referencing a weekly production by # per day. Seriously? I know neither of those grow in one day.

Precisely the issue I proposed to address with this.

This is still the most inefficient thing I have ever heard of. If someone wants to go for it, be my guest. I am going to raise a multiple of their stats with a fraction of the pumpkins in the same time then.
