Minetracks and carts

Hard metal could be used to make minecarts, wood and hard metal could make tracks. You could push/pull the cart around, and it'd act like a moving stockpile of rock/coal/ore. You could also have the ability to dump the cart out, creating a normal ground stockpile wherever you make the dump.

Seems redundant to me, cause you can use regular cart underground in most scenarios. Or roads, whatever you like more.

Yeah i think normal carts fill the purpose already.

Although i kind of want stockpiles to be build:able on top of carts.

Using carts/wagons to move entire stockpiles would also be an acceptable alternative, sure.

I'm all for a metal cart that could haul large amounts of ore, but minetracks just don't fit in haven

And yet are far more 'Iron Age' than mine carts and rails...
jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

Wikipedia wrote:The idea of using "tracked" roads is at least 2000 years old; quarries in Ancient Greece, Malta and the Roman Empire used cut stone tracks to haul loads pulled by animals, as the Greek Diolkos did for transporting ships overland.

The game isn't set in the roman empire though, Sabinati.

No, but other carts were used in iron age mines in all of Europe.

Also I wear a toga and bronze armor. IF that doesn't make me greek then I don't know what I am.
