wait for it..... BORROWS yeah

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

wait for it..... BORROWS yeah

borrows: (for anyone who doesn't know what they are and their purpose) they are small tunnels made by soldiers to pass under the castles walls or enemy front line.
for haven and hearth better to make it a super expensive tech that also needs a special object (dk maybe smthing like a drill) to make one.
defense: all borrows are connected {q. what do you mean?!?!? a. if u make a borrow under your wall and reinforce the walls with metal then no one can pass and u can see if smne is approaching (like u can see mines at minimap)

Borrows wouldn't be very popular. Nobody would ever return them.

You meant burrows. Also this would totally defeat the point of walls since there are often long times where people are offline whereas irl people would always notice.

omg burrows yeah :P
as I stated before (and at another post) in order to make this technology viable , another technology about metal coating needs to be made. for example u can coat the walls of a burrow under the wall and then no one will be able to pass through (except maybe with another technology [dk yet])

Sorry, your wording is confusing. I don't think requiring people to spend lots of metal to put a wall under their wall is a good thing, though.

it would be great to have new siege mechanics , burrows can be also used to transport stuff in and out of camp, that way u will never be locked inside your own walls if built properly. also the usages are unlimited, a town under the town can be made. tons of tunnels used for emergency escaping, tunnels leading to hidden storage rooms, anything can be made. imagine steel doors protecting your stuff, wouldn't you feel safer although u spent hours and hours digging for the required metal?
p.s. guys I have got the ideas only , I can develop them at some point but need you to help me too :)

like a mine ( only soil on walls ) and metal coating available from everything, from houses doors gates even walls.
i have also made a post about catapults , the metal coating would be very useful vs catapults and burrows too. (something like cellars connected with tunnels)

I thought that was sapping. Often performed by sappers.
